Researchers from Curtin University in Australia said that mothers who breastfeed for more than 13 months are less likely to develop breast cancer in her body (63%) than those who breastfeed are less than 7 months (37%). In addition, mothers who have three children and breastfeeding for more than 31 months to avoid breast cancer (91%), as reported by MedicalDaily, Thursday (24/01/2013).
Not only that, the researchers believe that mothers who are breastfeeding can prevent ovarian cancer because they can delay ovulation. With breastfeeding, ovulation is more frequent and the greater the risk of cell mutations that can lead to various diseases.
